The Type Approval Option upgrades the XL2 instrument to the XL2-TA, the dedicated sound level meter for certified measurements. The XL2-TA forms with the M2230 microphone a type approved sound level meter offering class 1 performance according IEC61672:2003, IEC61260:2003 and type 1 performance according ANSI S1.4:2006.
